All Cupcakes Great and Small

There is something about cupcakes that make kids of all ages happy!
We are still eating our way through the results of the St. Patrick's Day festivity-baking!
We went the semi-homemade way, as usual. Boxed devil's food with homemade vanilla cream cheese icing.

Just look at that shine!
Doesn't that make you smile?
Cub received the best Christmas present in the whole wide world from our Jenn...A kid-sized baking kit-complete with apron, muffin tins, mini-whisk, rolling-pin and measuring cups. She loves it, of course!
Tomorrow the day care is closed. It makes me sad to know that I have noone to watch her while I go to work. So, I have to stay home with her. I do not like taking days off, especially when we are both healthy.
I think I'll stay up a little later than usual trying to finish-up my scarflet.

Those cupcakes look scrumptious! I was so glad to hear that you got the package. A couple of years ago I bought the yo-yos on eBay and made pillows for Christmas gifts. Somehow the remaining yo-yos just sat in the closet and I am so glad they have now found a home that will find a good purpose!

Enjoy your special day with Cub. The school year is almost over so you can take the day knowing that good health will carry you until summer break.

Kid size baking stuff is indeed the coolest gift!

Those cupcakes look so good..
The only fault I had with my cupcakes that I had made, was the frosting.. I added a little too much something.. I can't quite figure it out, I am trying to listen to my "inner chef" rather than go by the directions...and, well.. I really shouldn't do that. hmph.

A kid size baking kit? That is a great idea.. I am betting Allison and Emily would both love that!
